There are a number of annual events in Saskatchewan for survivors of acquired brain injury and their families. These events offer the opportunity to get out, learn new things, meet other people, and have fun.
SBIA hosts an annual, summer Survivor and Family Camp (usually in June) at Arlington Beach Camp, located on the northern shores of Last Mountain Lake. The camp weekend features various sessions for both ABI survivors and their family members such as musical entertainment, creative crafts, indoor and outdoor games, and karaoke. During each camp, SBIA also holds their Annual General Meeting to discuss their mission of increasing awareness of ABI. Visit www.sbia.ca for more information.
