The North ABI Outreach Team hosts the ABI Drop-In Program. The group includes activities like cards & board games, and to get a little physical exercise, the Wii. Come out and interact with your peers. Meet new people and make new friends. The group meets every Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 – 3:30 pm at the Minto Bowl & Rec Centre 201-13th Street East, Prince Albert. Coffee will be supplied. The program is free. The Sports for Life program is an inclusive recreational sports program designed to be a link for young adults ages 18-30 years with an acquired brain injury, who would like to access recreational sports programming within their community. The weekly sessions provide an inclusive opportunity in which a variety of team sports are played in a friendly and non-competitive environment. In this setting, the participants learn and develop the fundamental technical skills of each sport, improve their social skills and self confidence.
